Silicon Rubber Based Thin, Flexible, Resonating Absorber (KV-RA-S)

SLTL’s KV-RA-S, silicone rubber sheets are designed to be bonded to flat or curved metallic surfaces to reduce the reflectivity in a narrow band of frequencies. It can be adhered to masts of Ships, walls, bridges etc. to reduce false images, reflections and echoes to antennas. Suppressing parabolic antenna side lobes. Attaching to vehicles to reduce overall Radar Signature. Suppressing specular reflections inside microwave units e.g. power amplifiers of mobile telephones, low noise blocks of satellite receivers etc.

FEATURES:

• Thin, flexible, weather proof, narrow band resonating absorber sheet at design frequencies from 1-35 GHz.
• Magnetically loaded Silicon rubber sheets.
• Temperature withstand capability from -40°c to +200°c.
• ≤-15dB reflection loss at center frequency with -10dB reflection loss at ± 5% bandwidth around the center frequency from 1-35 GHz. (as compared to the flat metal plate of the same size) Tested as Per IEEE Standard 1128-1998.
